Anne Parillaud

Anne Parillaud was born in Paris, France on May 6, 1960, and even though all her travels took her to many lands, is still a Paris resident. Anne studied ballet in school, and her first appearance was in the film Un amour de sable (1977) where she played "La jeune fille avec un petit chat" ("The girl with a kitten"). However, her first real role was as Estelle in Hôtel de la plage, L' (1978), and even though she had only appeared in this film during summer vacation, by then she had caught the show biz bug. Anne was in 8 other films, and then she gave her breakout performance in her signature role as Nikita in the wildly popular Nikita (1990), aka "La Femme Nikita" (1991) (USA).
